In these pages we want to accompany you in the discovery of "La Pulledraia del Podere Montegrappa" Farmhouse accommodation in Tuscany, located in Alberese in the heart of the Maremma regional Natural Park in Tuscany. We wish to tell you about that marvellous historic, natural and scenic setting in which the farm is situated, the Tuscan Maremma. Above all we want to introduce you to the pleasant atmosphere of simplicity and serenity which is our daily  aspiration and our dream, our destination, the way of life we choose and which

 we will endeavour to make you part of, in the days in which you will be our guests.

We will tell you about the farm Montegrappa where the farmhouse is located and about the history of the place. We will show you the double rooms farmhouse accommodation where you will be staying during your vacation and all the services the rooms can offer, our dining hall where we will welcome you at breakfast and dinner time and where you will be able to taste, together with all the other friendly guests, our recipes. We will tell you about our organic products made with love and passion. We will take you to the swimming pool where you will be able to relax after your excursions to the Park or the beach before dinner.

What you will find and what you will not find at La Pulledraia farmhouse

La Pulledraia farmhouse is an organic farm run by our family. We produce directly just for ourselves and our guests. So you will find fields with cereals, grass, vegetables, winerards, olive trees. We try to keep the farm fields clean and tidy but we do not want and, as an organic farm, are not allowed to use chemical fertilizers or herbicides. So we do not have the ultimate weapon in our war against weeds.

So you will not find at La Pulledraia a mansion house and its surrounding park with always green grass all over the place.

You will find the nature of the natural Park of Maremma and of the surrounding villages, the beach of Marina di Alberese which is within the Park area.
You will not find discoteques, Disneyland, waterparks or other noisy attractions like those you can find in the Rimini area.

You will find us who, having a different professional background, decided to have a different life style and who will commit ourselves to receive and host all of you. At same time we do require your respect for us and our job.

You will find me, Luciana, a former grammar school teacher now retired who will cook for you and will find my husband, Bruno, who after retirement from a local government authority decided to change life and to follow his interest for organic farming. You will find a dining room where we have 2 big tables: all our guests have breakfast and dinner all together. You will not find small tables where you can stay alone with your wife or fiancé.

On evenings you will not find a menu list but I will cook always something special and different according to what we produce in that period. Our daily menu include a starter, a first dish with pasta and special made sauces, a second dish of meat or cheese with different kind of contours, fruit or cakes and liqueurs home made. All (almost all) we serve is home made with organic products: oil, wine, sauces, meat (chicken, rabbit and lamb are naturally raised in the farm), cakes, liqueurs.

If you are looking for these kind of services you have to know that you will not find them in our farmhouse which is not a 5 stars hotel at a discount price.
If you are used to go on holidays in a village or resort, very likely you will not enjoy to stay in a farm house and could risk not to fill at ease and to make us not to fill at ease.
If you have never been in a farm house and you do not know what to expect from this kind of holiday, before booking for a full week just try it for a weekend. You will find out if it is what you are looking for or not without wasting your full holiday and without embaracing anybody.

You will find a nice and clean room (always look the photos on the internet site) with private entrance; the final clean up will be made by us but not the daily clean up (you will find everything needed to clean up in the room or you could ask the daily clean up as an additional service); you will find bed and bath linen; bath linen will be changed after 3-4 days of stay; bed linen will be changed after 1 week of stay.

So you will not find the room service, will not have change of linen every day, will not have a daily clean up of your room (if you ask for it, it will be an extra).

We do not have inflatable games or a baby club. If you will come with your children we imagine that you want to spend time with them and you do not want to “park” them somewhere.

You will find love and passion in what we do, in what we cook and say. But a summer season is long and tiring and so we could not eventually manage to satisfy all your requests. We apologize since now if we will not be able to say always “yes sir”.
